China sets AD duties on steel tubes from EU and Japan

According to the Ministry of Commerce, China has set anti-dumping duties on some stainless steel tubes imported from European Union and Japan after it completed investigation in September on Chinese producers' complaints.

The ministry said the Chinese tube makers were hurt by imports of high-grade seamless stainless steel tubes at low prices.

The tubes used in power plants and imported from the EU and Japan will be charged of duties from 9.7% to 39.2%, effective on May 9th.

China has been asserted with dumping called by major trade partners by large exports of steel products before the financial crisis in 2008.

However it still needs imports of some high-grade steel products
